Zoning is notoriously messy and can be a source of frustration on projects - we heard from users they could spend hours working on projects, only to later discover one zoning requirement that caused hours of rework.

Having a standardized, up-to-date and reliable source of zoning information is a significant advatage in moving quickly and confidently through feasibility.

What You’ll See in Arcol

We partnered with Zoneomics to help deliver zonining information at scale, they cover over 10,000 cities and 100+ million parcels across their database. Embedding this directly into Arcol makes zoning analysis seamless.

Here’s what’s now possible inside Arcol:

  • Parcel-level zoning detail: For any site or set of sites you’re evaluating, we fetch zone codes, permitted land uses, building controls (setbacks, FAR, max height, lot coverage), overlays, etc., directly from Zoneomics.
  • Envelope generation & visual feedback: Based on zoning rules, Arcol can compute allowable building envelopes (massing, height, setbacks, etc.), giving instant feasibility feedback.
  • Link-outs to full zoning reports: In cases where more context is required (e.g. special overlays, conditional uses, or exceptions), you can drill from Arcol into the full Zoneomics reports.
